Brandy and Emma

When my sister was young, she had a dog which she named Brandy. I love Phyllis Harris' stamps because they bring back memories such as my sister's dog.

So here is my card that I made using the Brandy and Emma stamps and I will be entering it into the Unity Brandy and Emma Coloring contest.

To make the card, I used:

Double pocket bags

I finally finished the double pocket bags. The first photo shows the bag and the items that go inside. The requirements for the swap were to enclose in the bag - 1 altered item in one pocket and a $1 -2 gift in the second pocket along with a 3" X 3" card. The second photo unveils my altered item - a pack of hot chocolate! My theme was 'warm winter wishes' without saying it! :)

I got my stamps in from Phyllis Harris! Woo Hoo! Time to play! Oh wait - I have to work tonight and the next 6 nights. Oh well - I will play when I can!!!

Update

I have tried to post three times tonight and it wouldn't take so this is my last try!

Well - I still have not completely moved to Alabama! What is sad about that is that most of my stamping supplies are in Oklahoma! I am limited to the items I have in Alabama.

I do have internet access and just ordered Phyllis Harris' stamps from Unity Stamp Co. Woohoo! I also hope to enter their Ippity Challenge this week (See challenge post dated October 23rd)! As soon as I complete the project, I will post a picture!

Speaking of pictures, below are some pictures of a double pocket bag that I am making. If I get them completed in time, I will participate in a swap on Splitcoaststampers.com!

Finally an update.....

Hello everyone! The past month has been full of ups and downs beginning with surgery, following the news that The Angel Company is closing it's doors and a new job offer!

I had a minor surgery at the end of July and doing very well now! I was out of commission for a couple of weeks.

Then about mid-August, The Angel Company announced it was closing it's doors! I was really upset about this since I still wanted several of their sets...especially those by Phyllis Harris.

And then a few weeks ago, I received a job offer with Georgia Pacific and will be moving within the next few months from Oklahoma to Alabama.

However, I found out Phyllis Harris is in negotiations with a couple of other stamp companies and may possibly be able to purchase her designs...woohoo! I will not be signing up with another stamp company any time soon due to the move.
