Be a Blessing.....

During 2010, the founder of The Angel Company, challenged us to be a blessing to others. I have to admit that while going to school full-time while working full-time, I didn't feel like being a blessing let alone finding time to be a blessing. However, I am no longer in school and my mind drifts back to some of the things she said about being a blessing.

Now Mischelle (aka founder) has brought attention to making a dream board. A dream board is a collage or pictures of things we want to accomplish in 2011. This made me think of things I want to accomplish in 2011. I mean, I really hadn't given it much thought.

So tomorrow night, I will be working on my dream board. I know it will include being a blessing to others while showing them how they can be a blessing without it costing them an arm and a leg! :) It will also include holding one TAC funshop each month, Once I finish it - I will take a picture and post on here!

In the meantime - Enjoy these recipe cards that I made for a swap!

Unitl next time!

Stamping Time!

Hello everyone! I haven't posted much since starting this blog because I was attending the University of Oklahoma but as of December, I am a graduate! YEAH! Now to focus on more fun things such as stamping!

I recently joined a stamping group called Split Coast Stampers (http://www.splitcoaststampers/). It is really a neat group and I have learned alot of different techniques from them. However, I really enjoy participating in swaps. Specifically - Recipe swaps.

I made the two 6 X 6 cards below for a swap:

Hope you liked them! Go ahead, try the recipes, they are very good!

Until next time!

Deck The Halls Blog Hop

Okay - the card looks better in person but it is my first attempt. :) I used the Sweet Nativity and the Snowman Nativity stamp sets for this card as well as Copic markers  and SPICA Glitter Pens. One thing you can't see in this pic is is the glitter behind the couple.

Enjoy your blog hop!

Little Girls

Here three images I colored using Copic markers! Compare them to the mug I colored using watercolors - what a difference! Guess I am going to have to color the mug with Copic's as well! :)

Watercolor Mug

This is card I threw together after I colored the mug using watercolor pencils! On the inside it reads "warm thank yous!"
